VIOLENCE in Mitchells Plain is continuing to soar amid a gang war after another person was shot and fatally wounded yesterday morning at a park in Eastridge.

Gunfire was reported around 7am in Buffalo Street where the body of a 37-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his head.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that Mitchells Plain detectives are investigating a case of murder and said that the motive for this attack is believed to be gang related.
