TEN of the eleven Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) officers charged with the murder of the alleged Clever Kidz (CK) bendelid Wade Price will now have their Krismis plate served agter tralies after they were denied yesterday.

One of the cops was granted R1 000 bail because of health reasons.

His 10 colleagues will not spend Christmas in Pollsmoor, as they feared, with nine of them being sent to Brandvlei correctional facility, while the female officer will be detained at Worcester Prison until their next court appearance on January 26.

In their previous verskyning at the Athlone Magistrate's Court last Thursday, the cops claimed that bandiete had threatened them after recognising them while in custody.
