‘Angry jongens torched taxi after driver kills local community worker’ in Halt Road horror

HALT Road in Elsies River was in chaos on Wednesday morning when a well-known community worker was knocked dead by a taxi after allegedly fleeing from robbers, and a group of upset jongens allegedly set the taxi alight.

Videos of the scene made the rounds on social media and showed the woman lying at the scene. Moments later, more videos and pictures were circulating showing the taxi up in flames.

According to reports, the community worker was allegedly running away from robbers when she ran in front of the taxi and unfortunately died at the scene.
