DUNOON Primary School learners have been forced to start the new academic year without electricity or WiFi after skelms stripped the building of electricity cables and wiring.

Acting Principal Thelisa Siyo reported that the school discovered the issue on 12 January, the first day teachers arrived.

The principal explained: “When we arrived, there was no electricity anywhere in the school. The next day, we realised that the wires and electricity cables had been stolen.”
