Public barred at Mitchells Plain Magistrates Court as alleged gang boss Bakka's bail hearing is postponed

UBLIC access to Mitchells Plain Magistrates Court was barred on Thursday as alleged Fancy Boys gang boss Abubaker 'Bakka' Adams appeared for his bail hearing.

Dramatic scenes were seen outside the court building as angry mense were turned away due to the high-profile hearing in Court 4.

A large crowd - with some mense opposing bail for Bakka gathered at the entrance, as angry aunties demanded to know why they were not being allowed in the public galleries as court officials claimed it was for safety reasons.

A court official was heard shouting: "For your own safety, go home please." During the confusion, officials clarified that only lawyers, cops, officials, those appearing in court and journalists were allowed.
