SHANE LYNCH LIFTS LID ON LIFE IN BOYZONE

- by CARLY HACON

SHANE Lynch has sung to millions, survived Boyzone mania, and isn't afraid to call pop's darker corners demonic or admit he thinks the Earth might just be flat.

But while he's willing to question the very fabric of reality, being in Boyzone at the time felt surprisingly normal.

"You know, at the time, being in Boyzone didn't feel hectic," he admits. "It was just your day-to-day.

"Cameras, press, people everywhere... you didn't know any different. It's only after you step off that ride you realise, 'Jesus... that was a lot." Even amid fan frenzy, Shane, 49, insists the band never invited chaos. "We weren't causing trouble. We sang love songs, ballads... pretty radio-friendly stuff. No aggression, no riots.
