FLY-TIPPERS TURNING STREET INTO A 'SLUM'

FOLK on a “disgusting” street are struggling to access their homes after fly-tippers dumped a 10ft tall mountain rubbish.

Residents say festering piles of waste have left their area of Stockland Green, Birmingham, like a rat-infested “slum” amid the city’s ongoing bin strikes.

The pile of junk in an alleyway includes fridges, mattresses and furniture and towers over garden fences.

Raj Arjan, 34, said that even when previous loads have been removed, more “pops back over night”.
