JUDD TRUMP maintained his hoodoo over all-time great John Higgins - but played down his chances of becoming a multiple UK champion.
The Ace in the Pack, 35, prevailed 6-5 in an epic to reach the quarter-finals in York.
World No.1 Trump (inset) has now won 11 of his last 13 meetings with Scottish legend Higgins, a run that began with an emphatic 18-9 victory in the 2019 World Championship final.
