ALAN Carr's Celebrity Traitors victory has been dubbed the “TV moment of the year” after its enormous ratings.

The comedian and last remaining Traitor was crowned the winner after fooling fellow finalists Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga into thinking he was a Faithful.

The episode was watched live by an average of 11.1million people - peaking at 12m - making it the most viewed BBC show since the final episode of Gavin & Stacey on Christmas Day last year.
