EBOU ADAMS is convinced Derby can handle the heat in the final-day relegation shoot-out.

The Rams climbed out of the bottom three after beating fellow strugglers Hull last weekend.

They now face Stoke knowing their destiny is in their own hands, while the Potters also have work to do if they are to secure their Championship future.

The high-pressure stakes guarantees a tension-filled Pride Park today, but Adams has backed his team-mates to embrace the challenge.

The midfielder said: "That's the positive - it's in our hands.

"The Championship is one of the funniest leagues because things change so fast. We can't take it for granted.
