US Pres is hailed hero by Israelis

ISRAEL hailed Donald Trump a hero last night and vowed to support his bid to win next year's Nobel Peace Prize.

The US President was given a two-minute standing ovation in the Israeli parliament for halting the war with Hamas.

In his victory speech, Trump told the Knesset: "This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
