Red Devils facing deal or no deal dilemma

EVEN the most optimistic Man United fan would have struggled to make a decent case last season for extending Casemiro's contract beyond 2026.

But three months into the campaign and he's one of the first names on the team sheet.

The Brazilian's contract expires at the end of the season, though United could trigger the clause in his deal to add an additional 12 months.

With United expected to target a central midfielder in the summer and Casemiro turning 34 in February, it might seem silly to do so.
