THE US fooled Iran with a double bluff that allowed its bombers to come, blow-up and go "without the world knowing", a defence chief claimed.
Operation Midnight Hammer was hailed a "spectacular success" by Donald Trump, who claimed the blitz "obliterated" Iran's nuclear sites.
Shell-shocked Tehran vowed "everlasting consequences" were coming but the US President warned of "far greater" force if it tried to retaliate.
