Maresca wants his stars to pump up the volume

ENZO MARESCA says it's time for his quiet leaders to turn up the volume and help Chelsea make some noise again.

Gone are the days of big characters like 'Captain, Leader, Legend' John Terry ruling the dressing room with an iron fist.

But Maresca is convinced he has a different kind of leadership brewing in his young squad as Chelsea bid to bounce back from successive defeats.

Ahead of today's trip to Crystal Palace the Blues boss said: "Sometimes you have a different kind of leader.

"Sometimes there are leaders who don't talk, but when they do, the rest, they listen a lot.
