BRITAIN is set to hit 31C within days as scorching heat sweeps back in.

According to WXCHARTS weather maps, much of southern and central England is likely to see a sharp rise in temperatures.

Forecasters predict that conditions will turn much hotter by the middle of next week.

They reckon we could see up to 31C with the sweltering conditions expected to last for days.
