England must unleash pace trio Down Under SAYS STEVE HARMISON

ASHES hero Steve Harmison can't wait for England to land in Australia with a cast of fast bowlers whose top speeds read like a ransom note.

And 'Grievous Bodily Harmison', a ringleader of the 'Fab Four' pace attack who regained the sacred urn in 2005, would unleash Mark Wood (97.1mph), Jofra Archer (95.7mph) and Brydon Carse (91mph) in Perth this November - if they are fit.

But after England needed 209 overs of footslog to take 20 wickets in the first Test thriller against India at Headingley, the Ashington speed demon warned there should be no rush to recall Archer after a four-year absence.

Archer, who won the last of his Test caps against India back in 2021, has just completed his first red-ball game in four years for Sussex in the County Championship against Durham.
