READY TO SURPRISE

AFTER last week's surprise appearance in the local pub league, it's been a more conventional build-up to my first major televised tournament appearance of the year.

I played two days at the Riverside Stadium last week and then off to Salzburg on Saturday for the Austrian leg of my mini exhibition tour.

I threw 30 legs of darts at the Austria event, so the organisers certainly got their money's worth!

Both events were fun and it was good to be throwing darts again, so let's hope that feeling continues into Milton Keynes this week.
