PUB LADS GRIN AND BEAR IT

WITH the Winmau World Masters - the first major televised tournament of the year - coming up next week, I've decided to mix up my practice.

I was determined to try something different with my pre-tournament routine this time around, so I headed back to where it all began... my local pub league!

I joined a couple of mates at the Bear and Ragged Staff in Wrecclesham and we all had a good night.

There were a few priceless looks on some of the opposition's faces when I stepped up to the oche, but it was enjoyable to be a part of.
