A BRAVE rail worker was hailed a hero last night after shielding passengers from a knife attack during the Huntingdon train horror.

Police confirmed a member of London North Eastern Railway staff had “undoubtedly saved people’s lives” after trying to stop the attacker.

Twelve people were injured during the stabbing rampage on the 6.25pm Doncaster to London King’s Cross service on Saturday evening.
