Rishy flays'em again but Tongue provides late twist

PANT'N WRECKED

IT FELT apt watching someone called Rishabh Pant do what he does best.

Here was India's wicketkeeper and explosive middle-order batsman pulling down the pants of England for the second time in this Test match.

Not content with blazing 134 in the first innings, the Indian maestro helped himself to another ton in the second knock.

And whoever claims Test cricket can be boring hasn't watched Pant in action.

England were set 371 to win after being put to the sword by showman Pant and his fellow century-maker KL Rahul.

By the close, openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett had shaved 21 off their target without loss.

England's aversion to draws a contravention of the 'Bazball' bible - is sure to be sorely tested today with the world's best bowler, Jasprit Bumrah steaming in at them.

Pant's pummelling of the Engl bowling attack was the highlight of the day and historic too.
