Palmer a real leader on the quiet for Enzo

And he reckons Manchester City's loss has been Chelsea's gain since the England star's £42.5m switch in 2023.

But the Blues boss, a former City coach, remains convinced that Pep Guardiola does not regret selling the 22-year-old.

Palmer played second fiddle to Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden when he was at City.

But asked whether he thought his rising star had outperformed both of them over the last year, the Italian said: "If we judge on the last four or five months, probably yes. But if you judge the last 10 years, probably not.
