NATHAN Sykes became a “shell of a person” while in The Wanted as label bosses forced him to be the silent poster boy for the band.

Now a solo star, the singer has revealed he was told his role would be “the token cute one” and was too young to even sing.

Nathan told me: “From the age of 16, it was like, 'You're going to be the cute one in the band, you're going to be the one that sells posters.' I was like, 'Have you seen this face?'

“This image was created of me when I was in the band and that was essentially done at boardroom level by people who work for labels.
