MATT RENSHAW hit an unbeaten 82 as Somerset moved second in Division One of the Vitality County Championship with an eight-wicket victory over Kent at Taunton.

The visitors totalled 564 in their second innings after resuming overnight on 409-5. 

Joe Denly led the fight with 67 before being last out, leaving Somerset a chase of 189 to win in a minimum of 54 overs.
