MATEO: CITY WERE KOVA-ACHIEVERS
Daily Star
|May 15, 2025
MATEO KOVACIC believes Manchester City fell into the trap of taking success for granted.
And he reckons their fall from grace this season has sharpened the team’s focus ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup final.
City will meet Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday with the chance to end on a high.
Winning some silverware would go a little way to making amends for months of failure from the deposed English champions. Kovacic (left) believes City won so many trophies under Pep Guardiola that it became the norm.
