ELLIE BOUTTELL is the Chinese-speaking Cambridge graduate who has broken the boxing mould.

Packed off to the Far East as a troublesome teenager, she thrived in smoggy Beijing.

So much so she applied to Oxbridge, where she studied the language of her adopted homeland.

It was in historic Cambridge where she first picked up a pair of gloves - but in China where she fell in love.

Now Bouttell, 29, is on a flying visit back to Britain to prove that she can conquer the world.

"My parents thought I needed a fresh environment and my mum came up with the idea to send me to China to live with my dad when I was 16," she said.
