LOUISE LOVES IT UP NORTH

SHE'S proven to be a fan favour-ite since joining Emmerdale - now Louise Jameson has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep her in the soap for another year.

The 74-year-old, who plays Rhona’s mum Mary Goskirk, loves being in the Yorkshire-based ITV show, despite living in Kent.

But while the long commute is a downside, she doesn’t have to do it every day - and she crashes with one of the team while filming.

Former Doctor Who star Louise said: “I'm thrilled. It’s corny, but I feel like it's some gift from the universe to me.
