Bayindir vows Old Trafford keepers will stick together

ALTAY BAYINDIR has lifted the lid on his relationship with Manchester United goalkeeping rival Senne Lammens and their battle for the No.1 spot.

United boss Ruben Amorim (inset) said Bayindir and Lammens will fight for the right to be first-choice keeper, following Andre Onanas season-long move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Deadline-day signing Lammens has moved above Bayindir to claim the No.1 position after an impressive debut in United's 2-0 win over Sunderland before the international break.

That assured display means Lammens will keep his place between the posts for the trip to reigning Premier League champions and arch rivals Liverpool a week tomorrow.

Despite their rivalry for the keeper's jersey, Bayindir was among the United players to congratulate Lammens on his debut and revealed the pair are close.
