Daily Star

SARINA WIEGMAN and her England players have cemented their status as living legends of women’s football.

The triumph was one which shot women’s football into the spotlight.
Since then, Women’s Super League attendances have soared, broadcast deals have been signed and players have become household names.
Sponsors jumped on the bandwagon, falling over themselves to align their respective names with the biggest stars.
