THE lifeboatman suspected of killing himself after appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show told lies to get on the telly, an inquest heard.

Steve Dymond, 63, hid from researchers he had taken four previous drug overdoses and slashed his wrists. In 2012 he was sectioned as a "suicide risk".
