Klopp's £9.6m reward

LIVERPOOL paid Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff a combined £9.6m when they left the club last summer.

Klopp left at the end of last season along with his team, which included coaches Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz and Vitor Matos.

The members of staff were paid a combined £9.6m a fee related to the time they had remaining on their contracts and loyalty payments.

And it saw the Reds post an overall loss of £57m from last season's accounts.
