SIR JIMMY ANDERSON has warned England that Australia are still in their prime heading into the Ashes.

The biggest series in cricket will kick off in Perth this week as England look to win Down Under for the first time since 2011.

The Aussies will go into the first Test without leading bowlers Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood due to injuries and that has increased the belief in some quarters that their pace attack is too old.
