Steve's hoping to knock it out of the park after Baz chat

STEVE BORTHWICK'S England are aiming to hit the Australians for six tomorrow after a brainstorming session with the architects of 'Bazball'.

Borthwick and his coaching team met up with their cricketing counterparts to swap ideas ahead of Brendon McCullum's sides Ashes bid.

The rugby group quizzed Kiwi McCullum (below) on how he changed the attitude of the English side and how the coaching dynamic works in the cricket sphere.

England defence coach Richard Wigglesworth said: “There was a lot of mindset stuff. I asked him how he changed that in English cricket, which was really interesting.

"Then we got into the technicalities of coaching someone one-on-one, what that looks like, his role as head coach in that versus his assistants he had with him.
