HEWICK RIDE A HUGE THRILL

IT WAS brilliant to get the ride on Hewick last weekend in the Randox Grand National, and although it took him a while to warm to his jumping, | got a much better ride off him on the second circuit than the first.

| thought we were in with a massive chance after jumping the Canal Turn and | got really excited, but coming to the third-last fence | quickly knew that this wasn’t going to be our year.

Nevertheless, he got round safely and it’s still a race that I'll continue to dream of winning.
