SIX people were feared dead last night after they plunged 185ft into a freezing cold river when a road bridge collapsed in seconds following a ship crash.
Some were in cars that fell from the 1.6-mile long Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, which gave way almost instantly after being hit by container ship Dali at 1.28am local time.
The victims were reportedly contractors who had been working on the bridge.
