Fears Russia is planning attack on Europe 'Gap'

Former Brit intelligence officer Philip Ingram fears the despot could target the Suwalki Gap.

The 65-mile long area between Poland and Lithuania is the shortest distance between Russian ally Belarus and the enclave of Kaliningrad.

If Putin seizes it, he would essentially cut off the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia from Nato’s allies.
