King George second to thrive at Ascot

HAVING his first run for the bang inform Dan Skelton and racing for the first time after a wind operation, KABRAL DU MATHAN (1.15) can land the Betfair Handicap Hurdle over two miles and three furlongs at Haydock Park.

Getting 3lb from his quartet of rivals, IL EST FRANCAIS (1.30) should capture the Grade Two Ladbrokes 1965 Chase run over two miles and five furlongs at Ascot.

Second in last season's King George at Kempton, the ex-French cheval is best on a right-handed flat track, so I expect this bold-jumping front-runner to make all. His usual jockey James Reveley is coming over from France to partner Tom George's horse, who he knows well.

No doubt owner Harry Redknapp will be at Haydock Park to watch THE JUKEBOX MAN (1.50) call the tune in the Betfair Graduation Chase run over two miles and five furlongs.
