Villa boss is expert on twists of fortune

UNAI EMERY has challenged Aston Villa's players to create their own history at Villa Park tonight - while ignoring his.

The Spaniard needs the mini-mum of a two-goal swing in the second leg against Paris St-Germain, with the French side holding the upper hand after completing a 3-1 victory in the French capital last week.

Emery famously saw his PSG team squander a four-goal advantage to Barcelona - managed by his opposite number in the dugout tonight, Luis Enrique - in 2017.

But he has also overturned a similar deficit twice during his career, once with Seville and again with Arsenal.

However, Emery says the only thing that matters is the here and now.

He said: "I have experiences coming back a result, positively and negatively, in two ways.

"My experiences before were different - sometimes losing away and winning at home, sometimes losing at home and winning away.
