Gen Z are shunning smashed avocado, porridge and toast in favour of the protein-packed fave.
More than two-thirds of 18-29-year-olds are scrambling to master the perfect omelette after watching an influencer or chef make one.
Some love it because it's a healthy option, while others reckon it's a cheap meal choice.
