COOPER TO FACE FLAK HEAD ON
Daily Star
|September 26, 2024
STEVE COOPER said he will meet any criticism head on after outlining his desperation to make Leicester a success.
He was caught in the crossfire on Tuesday night as passions spilled over during a goalless Carabao Cup draw at League Two Walsall.
A fan charged onto the pitch to deliver a few choice words and that was backed by chants of "This is embarrassing" and "Cooper, sort it out" from the 2,253 travelling supporters. Despite that, the Foxes advanced to the last-16 on penalties.
