Daily Star
|February 02, 2026
TOMAS CVANCARA headed his first goal for Celtic as the champions moved back above Rangers in the Premiership with a 2-0 win over Falkirk.

Benjamin Nygren was also on target as Celtic moved above the Light Blues on goals scored and six points behind leaders Hearts.
Falkirk contributed to an entertaining game, registering 14 shots at goal, but Celtic were more clinical.
Loan signing Cvancara (above) marked his home debut with a glancing header from Kieran Tierney's cross in the 39th minute to open the scoring.

UK shouldn't be kissing up to any 'super power'
kissing up to any super power will never be good for our country, it makes us look weak, which we are, it makes us look vulnerable, which we are, our leaders and so called educated elites are blinkered, they have lived such soft lives that they can’t comprehend that the wide world still operates as it has for ever, the strong prey on the weak, to powers like china or america, international law mean as much as zebra’s lives matter means to a lion, and at least zebra’s are wise enough to herd together to defend themselves against predators they don’t walk over to them and hope the meeting will be beneficial.
