WALSALL boss Mat Sadler described his side's 3-1 home win against promotion rivals BROMLEY as “really significant" after they stayed top.

Ben Krauhaus put Bromley ahead, but second-half goals from Daniel Kanu, Ryan Finnigan and Courtney Clarke halted the Ravens' four-match winning run.

Sadler (top) said: “The win came from crosses from set-plays, but they're a tough nut to crack and we had to be at our best, as we were in the second half.”

Bromley missed out on going top, slipping to fifth. Ravens boss Andy Woodman said: "As much as we would have liked to have had a little pat on the back and hit the summit, it wasn't to be.”
