BRUCE Springsteen's biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere could have at least one sequel, as the Daily Star revealed yesterday. Director Scott Cooper feels the rocker, played by Jeremy Allen White, left, still has a lot of life story to share. But how much do you know about The Boss? Here MEG JORSH relives his Glory Days...

Born to be the Boss..

Born in New Jersey on September 23, 1949, Bruce was the son of Adele and Douglas, a legal secretary and a bus driver.

Bruce decided he wanted to be a musician aged seven after watching Elvis on TV. The first song he learned to play on the guitar was Greensleeves.

Springsteen never fitted in at school, where a teacher called him "a loner". He didn't even bother attending his 1967 graduation ceremony.

He had a strained relationship with his dad, who struggled with mental illness and alcoholism.

At 19, Bruce was almost called up to serve in Vietnam - but failed his army physical because of a concussion he'd suffered in a motorbike accident two years earlier.
