BLACKPOOL rocks for beer lovers with the UK’s cheapest pint.

The average price for a jar is just £3.25 in the Lancashire resort, famous for its sweet batons and tower, data shows.

That is more than £1.50 cheaper than the UK average for a pint of lager.

But despite its reputation for budget bevvies, elsewhere in the North has hit a wallet-busting fiver.
