Resurgent Raducanu is the one to catch again

EMMA RADUCANU celebrated returning to British No.1 by romping into the quarter-finals of the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club.

And the last home player left in the singles now has a great chance to reach the last four today after a shock defeat for Olympic champion and No.1 seed Qinwen Zheng.

The former US Open champion was guaranteed to be the nation's top female player for the first time since June 2023 when Katie Boulter (inset) lost yesterday.

Raducanu then needed only 76 minutes to beat Slovakian Rebecca Sramkova 6-4 6-1 in the Andy Murray Arena.
