RUSSIAN FREEZE TO LAST 12 DAYS IN UK

SNOW is set to return as a 1,000 mile-wide “Beast from the East” brings whiteouts in a brutal 12-day winter freeze.

The cold spell - that could see temperatures plunge to a teeth-chattering -10C - will blow in on bitter winds from Russia this week.

It will trigger fears of a repeat of the 2018 Beast that caused snow and ice chaos.
