BBC boss shocked by stars' 'abuse of power

BBC bosses have blasted star presenters for “abusing their power”.

Chairman Samir Shah told MPs no talent is “untouchable” or “bigger than the BBC”. He said he had been shocked by allegations about the behaviour of a string of ex-presenters.

It came as he discussed the series of reviews by the BBC into the conduct of former stars including Huw Edwards, Russell Brand and Tim Westwood.
