Ball's in the mix for Inoue

NICK BALL is being pushed towards a super showdown with one of boxing's most feared punchers in Naoya Inoue.

WBA featherweight champion Ball, 28, defends his title against Irishman TJ Doheny this weekend in Liverpool.

He is unbeaten in 22 fights, with one draw, and his reputation has grown after a win over much-fancied American Ray Ford, before a routine defence against Ronny Rios last year.
