Archer's ready for return

JOFRA ARCHER is back in the England fold and lining up a first Test appearance for four years.

The injury-cursed speedster has been named in the 15-man squad for Edgbaston next week after coming through his red-ball return for Sussex at Durham successfully.

Sussex captain John Simpson believes the 30-year-old is ripe for a recall.

"There were quite a few deliveries hitting the gloves pretty hard so from his perspective he's ready to go," said Simpson.
