Amorim sings praises of Cherries talisman

RUBEN AMORIM labelled Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo a "special player" ahead of tonight's showdown at Old Trafford.

Manchester United showed an interest in the forward during the summer before making moves for Bryan Mbeumo (inset) and Matheus Cunha to strengthen their attack.

Semenyo remained with the Cherries and enjoyed another strong start to the season, although his form has wavered in the past few weeks.

The 25-year-old has not scored or assisted in any of his last seven games, but a return of six goals and three assists in 14 Premier League games is still impressive.
