EDDIE HOWE wants Kieran Trippier's contract uncertainty resolved at Newcastle United.
The former England star, now 35, has less than a year left on his current deal and turned down a move to Monaco at the end of the summer transfer window.
Trippier will be free to talk to overseas clubs from January about a transfer when his deal expires on June 30.
